Course Information

This is a course to complete your outstanding L1 or L2 Qualification if the final day or your original course was missed.  Please note this course is only open to candidates who confirm their valid membership number and are within their expiration dates.  We will need your Home Nation membership number to open up the booking.  Please email coaching@britishtriathlon.org if you are wanting to attend.

Outline of the Course

The cost of attending the course for those who were unable to attend their original assessment day is £25.

Please note that if you were referred on your assessment on your initial course, the cost of the course will be free of charge.

Below is an example timetable of how the day will be mapped out.

9.00am - Arrival

9.15am - Exam (L1 - 45mins)/(L2 - 75mins)

11am – chance to feedback, update portfolios if required

11.30am – Practical Assessment

1.30 - Return to classroom, snack and chance to complete paperwork and have exams marked

2.30  approx. - 1-2-1 sign off - approx. 15 minutes per person, we will try and accommodate those with furthest to travel first, though it will also depend upon how much outstanding work there is to do.

Once 1-2-1 is done you can leave.  Please note you will only need to attend the parts that are relevant to say, for example, if you completed all of the elements on the original course but were referred on the assessment, you would only need to arrive for the assessment part.  If you didn’t attend the whole of Day 5 of your original course you would need to complete the whole day.
